Skarlet also known as Myra Ruaro is a multi awarded Rock and Jazz Icon and a consummate recording artist. She is an enigmatic presence onstage, she sets the stage on fire with her performance.This woman is passionate when it comes to her ever-expanding career achievements, what with being the winner of several music and poetry awards and maintains a dizzying schedule of performing engagements every year. She is one of those rare vocal stylists that is both raw, energetic and sophisticated that’s why it is no surprise that she is backed up only by world class sidemen in the bandstand. The performance that we experience from Skarlet is exceptional, rocking, swinging and bopping with dynamism and she also delivers the most elegant-sounding ballads this side of the equator.
